mutares AG, Munich, acquires the Belgian kitchen manufacturer Rubbens-EGC from the leading global foodservice equipment manufacturer Ali Group, located in Italy.
Rubbens-EGC offers professional customized kitchen equipment for restaurants, canteens and caterers. The company employs a staff of 73 at its two Belgian sites in Kruibeke and Stavelot. In Kruibeke, the company specializes in thermal equipment and kitchen air conditioning, such as: ranges, boiling kettles, frying pans, deep fat fryers, vapo-grills and so on. In Stavelot, Rubbens-EGC has become excellent in the production from non-thermal, stainless steel equipment as custom made worktables, sinks, cupboards, self-service elements etc.
Given its 90-years experience as an estab-lished supplier, Rubbens-EGC provides international customers of the hotel and restaurant industry with professional kitchen equipment. The company supplies comprehensive solutions to its customers covering the entire value chain from design to after sales service.
